Destiny 2 ’s Lightfall expansion brings us a new Raid called Root of Nightmares , in which a six - man fireteam navigates through the Darkness Pyramid ship . To complete the raid successfully , the squad must touch in four different Encounters . The 2nd Encounter is call the Scission , and in this guide , I will explicate how to finish it step by tone .

Finishing the Scission Encounter in Root of Nightmares Raid in Destiny 2 will involve the same Field of Light buff you had in the previousCataclysm Encounter , but with the accession of another called Flux of Darkness . This Encounter will expect similar to the previous one , albeit with an extra tailspin . Instead of completing a single home plate succession four times , you will have two scale sequences simultaneously .

The onward motion is mirrored this time across both team , with Runners having to jump onto the plate with black orb and shoot them with active buffs . This will exhaust the buffs , work the orbs white . The luminance will extend the footpath to where they should go after returning to the glowing plate to regain the Flux of Darkness and Field of Light buffs .
