To call a course ' the strongest ' may seem a little strange , but in Diablo 4 ’s case , it ’s not strange at all . Class balance has been extraordinarily questionable since the plot was in its beta , so it ’s no wonder people are wonder which one is the dear now . While this patently a subjective grade leaning you ’re about to lie eye on , I ’d say there are some clear cuts between the stratum that much be mentioned . So , without further time lag , here are the best division in Diablo 4 , from good to bad .
Diablo 4 - Class Tier List
S-Tier
Barbarian
When you compare the Barbarian class to the rest of the plaster cast , it is almost a no - brainer that this is the strongest class in the game . The Barbarian has a popular Whirlwind chassis that does uttermost stateless person ( Damage Per Second ) in all focal point while moving at high speed . This ramp up alone propel the total class to the top due to how effective it is for farming content , specially at high-pitched levels . The damage this class is able to output is totally harebrained , and I would full ask a nerf to hit it at some gunpoint , perhaps onceSeason 1 begins .
Sorcerer
Joining the Barbarian in S - Tier is the Sorcerer for its unhinged amount of bod variety and dominance . Unlike the Barbarian though , I do not think it is overpowering . Still , for the amount of option and damage output , this class is subject of , it would be concentrated for me to put this category anywhere else on the tier listing . Whether you ’re focusing on Fire , lightning , crank , or all three , the Sorcerer can not go wrong with its choices .

A-Tier
Rogue
The Rogue class is super powerful in dealing with single - target area scathe . If not for the Barbarian , it would be the best class for it . However , in a game focused on handle with magnanimous groups of enemy consistently , the Rogue does suffer a snatch in the AOE ( Area of Effect ) department . While it does have option for AOE that are in effect , they are not reflex and must be consciously used to make out with large pack . This is not the case for the Barbarian or the Sorcerer , that trust upon abilities and spells that manage AOE while also dealing strong exclusive - target damage .
B-Tier
Druid
During the beta , Druid was well the weakest class of the cast , offer small damage , and not much else to go off of . Here in retail Diablo 4 , the class has seen some improvement , though I still call up it ’s an underperformer compared to the top 3 classes already note in this listing . While it is completely playable now , it does n’t do anything well than anyone really . If I had to mention one bighearted positive for it though , it does have a large amount of physique miscellanea , which is always awing in a Diablo biz .
Necromancer
The opposition must be stated for the Necromancer category . It is a socio-economic class that has fallen from the heights it had during the genus Beta . While AOE is still not much of an issue for it , boss conflict are rough , very jumpy , at times for the Necromancer . While far from unplayable , be warned that you may be in for a elusive experience ab initio .
