Radiant Aura casts a clean circle around the character , distributing its damage equally among all enemy in its range . It is automatically cast in interval . It can be upgraded to deal 20 % more harm at the price of a 15 % small wheel spoke , which is what I commonly take . In my belief , Radiant Aura is one of the most valuable ability in Halls of Torment . Due to the secret plan ’s nature , I am constantly getting fence by enemies . Being able to attack these enemies all at once is extremely useful , so I check that to have this power on most of my characters .

Another beast of an ability , Astronomer ’s Orbs gives you three orbs that constantly orbit around your character , dealing damage to anything in their itinerary . Their damage output signal can be upgrade via traits , which I also recommend . Coupled with Radiant Aura on a tight - range character , this power will make you a genuine ball of fire .

A Tier

I care taking Arcane Splinters with an Archer due to their natural high crit chance . This ability fires ranged projectiles in a vertical bed cover approach pattern with the alternative to have their firing pace and crit opportunity upgrade .

I advocate taking Piercing Blades as soon as possible because it adds two more blades to the cycle , add magic damage , and can also apply the Fragile status to enemies .

C Tier

Kugelblitz fires a slow - move ball of electricity toward a random enemy . The bollock will sporadically pass off an electric pulse in steady interval damage enemies around it . High Voltage makes this power a bit more interesting because it let the ball to grow Ernst Boris Chain lightning around it . I in person never break up this power due to its overall depressed damage output and because it miss in reach .

This ability can summon a clay robot that fights at your side . It starts by range in a rotary question and redress all enemies in its way . It works better when upgraded with one of the traits that will infuse it with lightning or force out elemental damages , respectively .
