Here are all the ways I have found to free myself of this infamous chatty Kathy .

Kill Naaber

If you need to indulge in the malign side of Baldur ’s Gate 3 , you could always just take him out . Nabber might be a full - grown man , but he ’s not much of a challenge . One well - come in bang will get rid of him , and while it will make Carm think less of your political party , it wo n’t get the guards called on you , in my experience .

Hear Naaber out

Just have a public lecture with him ; he ’s chatty and a little cockamamy , but if you just interact with him , Naaber will soon pull up stakes your party alone . Be kind ; tell him that he needs to accompany his dreaming , or tell him to get a different dream , and he ’ll back off , leave your party in peace . If you let the cat out of the bag him through all his dialogue and keep talking to him until he disappears , he ’ll even give you some XP and an amulet for your troubles .

Fast travel or leave Carm’s Garms

The easiest way to get disembarrass of him is to just leave . He ca n’t follow via fast travel , and he wo n’t go very far from the clothing shop . Just walk down the street , and he ’ll go away . And quash that workshop . Forever .

Knock Naaber out

practice the Passives menu on the action at law taproom at the bottom of the screen to toggle onNon - Lethal Attacks , then off Naaber with a melee arm . He ’ll be alive but strike hard out , and you could do your clothing shopping in repose without unneeded cleanup .
