While much of Baldur ’s Gate 3 is centered around its fantastic scrap and the various quests the game throws at you , it also has its fair share of challenging puzzle to solve . Early on , one of the tricksy puzzles I found was how to open Selune Chest in Baldur ’s Gate 3 . Here ’s how I did it .
How to open Selune Gilded Chest in Owlbear Cave in BG3
As you move into the cave , there is ashort path on the left hand before you get to the owlbear . Take this path , go up down at the final stage , and you ’ll be in a modest cave with a juicy glowing chest and a statue . To launch the chest , you require toread a prayer in the proper spot , removing the magic auspices on the chest .

The prayer you need to learn is behind the elephantine statue face the bureau . I highly commend keep your plot at this point in time , as you need several roles to go your way if you ’re going to get into the dresser . How to beat the trap on the Gilded Chest in Baldur’s Gate 3
Put the prayer note on the floor next to the chest , thenuse the NPC who passed the Prayer role to read it once more while it is on the terra firma . This will take out the magical trap from the breast . You ’ll bonk the execration has been take away becausethe blue begild chest will stop glowing . It is now safe to open Selune Chest , which will net you a nice set of average armour , The Oak Father ' Embrace , which will damage undead creatures that reach the wearer but strengthen beast attacks on them . It ’s a bit niche but very useful in undead dungeons .
