Rumors that Roblox will start allowing 18 + contentedness to be uploaded to the platform were sparked on February 8 , 2023 , after Twitter userRobloxTrackers"leaked " a list of possible Age Guideline changes that could be coming in the hereafter . The only difference between what ’s currently allowed on the platform and what could be come soon , is the preponderance and volume of said themes .
As Roblox continues to recrudesce the parameters of its internal evaluation process , the discussion hem in the chopine ’s object interview and growth is becoming more nuanced . Similar to stag M game , these experience would likely allow more lifelike violence ( ancestry and gore ) , strong language , romantic themes ( geological dating ) , depictions of gambling , alcoholic beverage acknowledgment / usance , etc . , but would be blocked behind an age wall that can only be maneuvered by those who have linked a valid driver ’s licence or ID to their Roblox story and fit the point long time criterion .
As mention above , these " leak " are nothing more than hearsay at the time of this article ’s publication , but standardised changes could be coming to Roblox shortly .
