As with all great RPGs , Starfield ’s main storyline force you to make some sturdy moral decisions . One of the most interesting dilemmas comes during the main story mission mat . You start to phase between two realities and can bring them back to a single timeline , but one will cease to exist . So , should you write Rafael or Director Patel in Starfield ?
Which reality to save in the Starfield mission Entangled?
I in person chose tosave Rafael;I for the most part did it for function - play reasons , as it became clear in the story that he attempt to do the right matter . coincidently , this also worked out advantageously for me in terms of reward . Your selection does not have longsighted - terminus story implications , so you could make the determination based purely on RP , the rewards , or a combining of the two .

If you save Rafaelby stopping the experiment in the timeline where the explosion happen , you will getjust over 10k Creditsand Rafael will give you some craft materials . However , more significantly , Rafael will be available to join your crewfor free once you ’ve strike down him off inNew Atlantis . Even if you lecture to him straight aside after you down there , he ’ll become a companion . While he does n’t have the strongest solidification of skills , he is a worthy plus to anoutpost team or a large starship crew .
If you hold open Director Pateland the rest of her staff , you will getslightly more credits , a vendor trash helmet , and alegendary spacesuit . However , the fortune to have Rafael on your crew is gone . While Director Patel seemed level - headed when talk to her , I did n’t palpate much empathy for her . By this pointedness in the biz , more credit and another spacesuit did n’t finger like much of a reward . Saving the appealing Rafael is a much well-heeled choice .
