Tactical RPG Wartales sees you acquire part in a series of turn - base conflict as you pull down and pitch up your companions . However , it ’s not all about the battles . While I ’ve found the moral dilemmas these can drop up often only pop the question you high-risk choices and rarely have much impact long - condition , they do spice up your narrative . One of these involves the Femme Fatalequest in Vertruse Provinceand whether or not you should catch Corene .
Wartales Femme Fatal quest and the fate of Corene
You ’ll pick up the Femme Fatale quest fromBrunhildeatAlazar Abode , which is just along the road northwest ofBrownrock Townalong the bound of the forest . She ’ll gyrate you a yarn about why she want you tocapture Coreneand how to encounter her . At this dot , you have no choicebut to capture and revert her , even if you do n’t palpate compelled to do so if you want to discharge theVertruse Province scenario . Your literal choice about what to do with Corene will follow after . The reward is a Pristine Essence , 100 Krowns , and 20 Scenario points ( so one - twenty percent of the total you need ) .

Where is Corene’s caravan?
The caravan she travels with regularly motion along the road between Winfel Estate and Marheim . Note that you ’ll needChainsto fascinate Corene , and you ’ll have tocapture herduring a battle with the caravan ’s guards ( you require the police wagon with theYellow and Black Shield picture ) . It can be confusing , as the regal scenario quest on the map does n’t correspond on the button where you ’ll observe her . The caravan will move right along the route .
capture Corene will cost you120 Suspicion , so you ’ll have to return her cross country to avoid the guard ( fortuitously , it ’s a comparatively short tripper ) . If youkill her accidentallyduring the fighting , it will immediately start over , so you ca n’t for good fail the pursuit . After handing her over , continue until you have100 percent scenario completionin the area . That will spark off aconcluding section of the scenario quest , after which the zone will be accomplished .
Should you help Brunhilde or Corene?
You ’ll then have the choice ofbattling Brunhilde to justify Corene , improving your standing in Vertruse , or helping Brunhilde escape with Corene as her captive to Alazare , where she promises you aid later . If catch , Brunhilde aver she ’ll report that you assisted in the kidnap , so you ’re on very murky ground . So as always in Wartales , both options have their pluses and minus .
