Playing Bethesda games is always overwhelming as they tend to push the ARPG boundaries to the max , and Starfield is no exception . you’re able to run , stick out , fell ship , foxiness , and who knows what else as soon as you arrive in the plot , and all the menus and soda pop - ups can be overwhelming . Sometimes , when you open your inventory in Starfield , you ’ll see an exclamation level next to some token . So , what does it intend ?
Starfield - What do exclamation marks mean in your inventory?
The first matter to say is , do n’t panic ! It ’s not a bad thing , and you ’re not going to get in trouble with the surety services ( not for the exclamation point , anyway ) . All it means is thatthis detail has appear in your inventory since the last prison term you look . To see at a full tilt of what you ’ve pick up since the last clip you opened your stock list , select theNew Items tab(pictured above ) .

It ’s significant to note that whether you wait at these items , such asresourcesor the New items list , the next time you open your inventory , they will all be removed from the New Items list and have their exclamation mark remove if you exit of the inventory . This can be pestering , as it ’s a great fashion to assess and remark all the new poppycock you picked up on your last outing . So think before you close your inventory after grab a cracking loot haul .
