During youradventures in the Underdark , you’ll eventually add up across a massive Duergar forge at its center . This forge is no ordinary forgeand can craft some spectacular gear using the many moulds that can be found in the expanse surrounding it . However , due to the limited supply of ore necessary to make this gearing , you ’ll need to be selective about which specific pieces you decide to make using the smithy . Best Gear From the Adamantine Forge in Baldur’s Gate 3
In my playthrough , I took the metre to make all of the available mould to see if each would result in a different type of item . It turns out using the Adamantine Forge to craft any of the available arm will leave in a blue rarity smorgasbord of each several weapon system , each of which has the magical ability to quieten any mark hit by it . These weapon are fairly powerful ( especially with the Silence component sequester ) , but they are hardly deserving your Mithral ore , of which you only gettwo to utilise on the forge .

Armor fares well , though . If you use the medium armor mold , you ’ll get a self-coloured average armor bureau piece potential to be an climb for one of your political party members . However , the veridical pillage is toilsome armor . When the Splint moulding is used at the forge , you ’re rewarded with theVery Rare Adamantine Splint Mail , which exceeds the stats of every other slice of gear you could make .
Yep , for some reason , using the Splint mold gives you the skilful possible gear you may get from the smithy . If you use anything else , you wo n’t get a Very Rare ; it must be theSplint Mould .
So , that ’s one mould down ; what about the others ? As other mold only reward Rare peculiarity gear wheel that is only comme il faut , I recommendsaving the last Mithral ore in your possession and not craft any other gear . In my playthrough , I have n’t used the 2d one yet in hope of discovering new modeling beyond the grasp of the straightaway forge . So there you have it . Make the heavy armour , bring through the other . You ’re welcome .

Where to find Mithral Ore in BG3
As name , you ’ll need Mithral Ore to make use of the forge . gratefully , there are two pieces close to the forge , but you ’ll have to do a bit of exploration to get them , as they are far away from each other . Here are the locations :
